Erik Herter spent years as the founding developer of the K-Vest and related product lines. As founding partner of K-Motion, Erik was directly involved in development of all products, including the K-Vest / K-Coach / K-Player (3D Golf Analysis and Training), K-Baseball (3D Baseball Analysis and Training), and K-Health (Dynamic Range of Motion; 3D measurement system with continuous triaxial data capture). His tenure at K-Motion allowed him to learn most aspects of starting up a business through his experience in the different roles he filled during the company's growth years.

As the Sole Developer for over 3 years, he contributed heavily to several patents in the collection of 3d Motion Data. He learned and integrated biomechanics in golf, baseball, and general movement into the product lines and was responsible for most of the GUI as well as the entire biofeedback interface and all underlying constructs.

As CTO, assisted with transitioning the company toward a corporate structure during capital raises of over $6 million dollars.

As Senior Software Engineer, assisted with all aspects and development of the local product and effectively interfaced remotely with the AZ and SD offices.

As Founding Software Engineer, assisted with the Development of K-Baseball including new algorithms for measuring the rotational velocities of a pitch and assisted with the related patents.
